Eliza Dushku, sister to Nate Dushku ("Joan of Arcadia") and known as Buffy's archenemy Faith Lehane in the hit TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," was born December 30, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. Both her parents are educators-administrators (her mother in Boston's Suffolk University and her father in the Boston Public Schools), and Eliza herself has shown great interest in learning, at least for the arts.

She has taken dance lessons and has acted in several amateur plays prior to landing a role in "Buffy." "Buffy" producers originally planned to create a spin-off for her Slayer character, but she turned down the offer in order to star in "Tru Calling," a supernatural series set in Boston.
